For his book report, this 6th grader made an amazing film, combining small videos made with Chatterpix. He used images from the book and added speech to them to tell the story and describe the characters. This made the book report more interesting than a classic oral presentation.

The students used the application Explain Everything to record themselves explaining adverbs. It clearly worked as they all did a great job using adverbs in their writing afterwards. The videos were also saved so the children can use them as a reference when necessary.
The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in more than 180 countries. Our 6th grade students took part by in this event. They practised coding with Star Wars, Frozen, MineCraft and Flappy Bird.
